Born in and currently living in South Australia, John recently completed a Bachelor of Creative Arts (Screen) at Flinders University. John grew up in a film studio as his father, Richard Chataway, is the owner of SA's Anifex Studios.

 

John regularly helps out on productions taking place at Anifex, including stop-animations, advertisements and short films. His interest is writing, and would love to work in his favourite genre, comedy. He also loves acting, having performed in over 15 plays, and 10 student short films, as well as starring in Tropfest 2019 finalist film Safe Space, which John also wrote. He also spent 4 years as part of the Hills Youth Theatre. 

 

John aspires to be a writer and actor in the Australian Film and Television Industry.
